Johan Santana, a two time Cy Young award winner, was traded to the New York Mets from the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday for four prospects. The Twins have been trying to trade Santana for a long time when the best deal became available. A number of sources have said that this was definitely not the best offer the Twins have received and that they may have just wanted to get rid of Santana soon. Santana was going to become a free agent after next season and the Twins wouldn't have had the money to re-sign him. Torii Hunter, their prominent center fielder for a long time, was also not retained by the Twins. He signed a five year deal with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. With this deal, the Mets now become the front runners to win the NL East and possibly the conference. They now have a front line dominating starter to go with pitchers like Pedro Martinez and John Maine. The Mets, two seasons ago, almost made it to the World Series, losing to the St. Louis Cardinals in seven games. They almost made it to the playoffs again this past season, but they went into a deep slide in September and the Philadelphia Phillies became red hot and overtook the Mets for the division. Santana and the Mets have a small window to negotiate a new contract. It is believed that Santana will receive $150 million over six years, making him the highest paid pitcher in baseball. Will Santana's arrival help the Mets win a World Series in the near future, possibly this coming season? Are the Twins going to be setback a number of years by this deal?

Giants Now Getting Love
As I sat back and watched this past NFL season, I couldn't believe all the things I was hearing. Coming into this season, we all knew the New England Patriots, with the addition of Randy Moss, Wes Welker, and Adalius Thomas, were right back to Super Bowl status. The Indianapolis Colts, defending Super Bowl champions had one of the best, if not the best quarterback, in Peyton Manning. But I couldn't believe the hype all of the other teams were getting. The San Diego Chargers were 14-2 last season and then fired head coach Marty Schottenheimer and hired Norv Turner. The Chargers were still being hyped as the big three in the AFC. In my opinion, they were lucky to get to the AFC Championship game after a lousy season. The Colts defense played terrible and Manning was very effective. I didn't buy into all the hype the Chargers were getting. Philip Rivers needed to be excellent for the Chargers to have a great season and he didn't. In the NFC, there were teams that were being hyped like the Chicago Bears, defending NFC champions, New Orleans Saints and the Dallas Cowboys. No one talked about the participants in the NFC Championship game; the New York Giants and the Green Bay Packers. As the season went on, it was clear the Cowboys and Packers were getting all the hype and no one had the Giants as contenders. Why? Despite the fact that I am a Giants fan, I told everyone that the Giants have the most physical team in the NFC. I couldn't believe a Cowboys team, who were getting a lot of lucky good plays from Tony Romo, were getting a lot of credit. I knew the Giants were capable of beating them despite the fact they lost to them both times in the regular season. The Packers were definitely overrated and were helped out by the fact they had an easy schedule. They lost at home to the Bears, who were already bad at that point and then lost to them later in the season. I knew the Packers were a soft team and before the NFC Championship game, I looked at the SportsNation poll on ESPN.com. The votes were overwhelming in favor of the Packers and every person involved in sports journalism said this is the year for Brett Favre. You got to be kidding! The Packers, in my opinion, were the softest team in the NFC, and with the cold weather, the Packers were not going to be able to throw the ball effectively. I knew this game was going the Giants way. But nobody else believed and now most of the country is wrong and the Giants have proven me right. It is now fair to definitely predict a Patriots win, as they haven't lost at all this season and have been dominating. But there's no reason the Giants can't pull of the miraculous victory, as they have won 10 consecutive road games up to this point. We'll have to wait and see.

Dungy Returns For Another Season
Tony Dungy, head coach of the Indianapolis Colts, has decided to coach the team another year instead of retiring. There were earlier speculation about Dungy retiring after the Colts' season was done because of the fact that his family had moved back to Tampa. Dungy shot down those speculations and rumors and said that he would speak with his family and make a decision from there. The owner of the Colts, Jim Irsay, was ready to do anything for Dungy so that he can stay. He came up with some ideas so Dungy can coach the team and see his family more, including letting Dungy use his private jet to go back and forth to Tampa. Dungy said that was a factor in him staying for another year. The Colts already had Dungy's successor in the event Dungy called it quits. Jim Caldwell, an assistant head coach to Dungy with the Colts and a season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when Dungy was there, was picked as Dungy's successor if he retired. Caldwell was already interviewed by several NFL teams for their head coaching vacancy but he turned all of them down to stay with the Colts. Dungy is the first black head coach to win a Super Bowl, winning it last season with the Colts. Dungy's record with the Colts over his six seasons is an impressive 73-23, which is the second highest winning percentage for a coach with one team. Dungy also coached six successful seasons with the Buccaneers and compiled a 54-42 record while leading the Buccaneers to the NFC Championship game in 1999 and building an eventual Super Bowl championship team. Are the Colts fortunate to be having Dungy back? Would it have made a difference if Dungy left? How much longer will Dungy coach for?

Patriots, Giants To Meet In Super Bowl XLII
The New England Patriots defeated the San Diego Chargers 21-12 in Sunday's AFC Championship game to advance to Super Bowl XLII. The Patriots, who are now 18-0, did not have their best performance but they still got the job done. Tom Brady, the Patriots' quarterback, was not as effective as he usually is, throwing three interceptions but he also completed 22 out of 33 passes for 209 yards and 2 touchdowns. Philip Rivers, the Chargers' quarterback, wasn't as effective as he was against the Indianapolis Colts last week with his injury, going 19 of 37 for 211 yards and 2 interceptions. Rivers didn't throw for a touchdown and the Chargers as a team didn't score a touchdown, even though they had a couple of opportunitites in the red zone. The Patriots will make history if they win the Super Bowl by having an undefeated regular season. The New York Giants defeated the Green Bay Packers 23-20 in overtime in the NFC Championship game to also advance to Super Bowl XLII, where they will play the Patriots. Eli Manning, the Giants' quarterback, wasn't on target as he was in the previous two playoff games, but he was smart with the football, going another game without throwing an interception. He was 21 of 40 for 254 yards while the rushing game continued to be effective for them. Running backs Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw combined for 130 yards and each of them scored a touchdown. Brett Favre, the Packers' quarterback, also managed the game good and threw a 90 yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Donald Driver. The costly mistake from Favre came in overtime when he threw an interception to Corey Webster, who had been excellent for the Giants in the playoffs. That set up kicker Lawrence Tynes game winning 47 yard field goal. Tynes previously missed two field goals in the fourth quarter, including the potential game winner before the end of regulation. Will the Giants, with all the momentum in their favor, pull of an upset? Will the Patriots make history and complete an undefeated season?

Maryland Stuns #1 North Carolina
In a matchup featuring ACC rivals, unranked Maryland defeated #1 ranked North Carolina 82-80 in North Carolina. It is the first loss of the season for the Tar Heels of North Carolina, who had been undefeated at 18-0 leading up to the game. The Terrapins of Maryland were struggling so far this season and was 11-7 leading up to this game. This game is an important win for Maryland for several reasons. They were able to show the country that they can compete with the best in the country. They also showed that they have enough talent to get back to the NCAA Tournament again and make a run for the ACC title in March. This was most importantly a big win for Maryland because it's a conference victory for them and a conference loss for North Carolina. North Carolina's loss won't affect them in the season if they play like they have been during the season. They have been dominant throughout most of the season and are the front runners to win the national championship. Another front runner for the national title, #4 UCLA, also lost at home to a conference rival in USC. Will these upsets keep happening in college basketball like it did in college football this past season? Will North Carolina will the national title? How good is Maryland?

Moss In Trouble Again
Randy Moss, wide receiver for the undefeated New England Patriots, is in the middle of trouble again. Moss, who has a history with the law and for bad behavior, was the person who was the target of a restraining order. Rachelle Washington, who is a longtime friend of Moss and who lives in Florida, had a restraining order issued against Moss for allegedly beating on her. Moss called the accusations false. Moss said that he was "furious" when the allegations came out and said that he has never hit a woman before. Moss had a record setting season with 23 touchdown receptions, breaking the 22 touchdown receptions Jerry Rice of the San Francisco 49ers had in 1987. The Patriots play the San Diego Chargers on Sunday for the AFC Championhsip game, and this could serve as a distraction for Moss. Bill Belichick knows about the allegations and reportedly told Moss to try and concentrate on football. Moss has a chance to win a Super Bowl, something that he was denied of twice earlier in his career with the Vikings when they lost in the NFC Championship game. Will this hamper Moss' production on the field on Sunday? Is Moss being truthful about the incident?
Dolphins Hires Sparano As Head Coach
The Miami Dolphins, who went 1-15 this past season, has hired Tony Sparano as their new head coach on Tuesday. Sparano was an assistant head coach with the Dallas Cowboys this past season. The Cowboys' season ended this past Sunday when they were defeated by the New York Giants 21-17. The Dolphins, who have former Cowboys head coach Bill Parcells and former Cowboys' vice president of college and pro scouting, have gone to another formere Cowboy employee to right the ship. The Dolphins have a lot of issues to work on with their players, including their defense who is getting old. They also need a running back who is going to carry the load. Ronnie Brown, their running back has been getting injured a lot in his career and has become a little unreliable. Ricky Williams. who just came back from his suspension, didn't seem to be fit for football in his lone appearance of the season against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Sparano now has the ultimate nightmare of trying to right the ship on a team that has nothing right going for them. How will the Dolphins do next year? Will the Dolphins draft the #1 prospect, running back Darren McFadden?

NFL Divisional Round
The Divisional Round of the playoffs had some exciting games. The Seattle Seahawks played the Green Bay Packers in the first divisional round game. The Seahawks jumped out to a 14-0 lead after Packers' running back Ryan Grant fumbled twice on successive possessions. But he bounced back to rush for 201 yards on 27 carries and the Packers' offense was very effective in the snow. They won 42-20 and advanced to the NFC Championship game for the first time since 1998. The second game was between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the New England Patriots. Tom Brady was very effective, completing his first 16 passes and completing a postseason record 93% of his passes, breaking the record held by New York Giants quarterback Phil Simms in Super Bowl 21. The game was tied at 14 at halftime because Jaguars' quarterback David Garrard was equally effective as well. But the Patriots made the necessary adjustments in the second half and came out victorious 31-20. The third game of the playoff weekend was between the San Diego Chargers and the Indianapolis Colts. This was the surprise game, as the underdog Chargers beat the defending champion Colts 28-24. Peyton Manning was throwing the ball well and threw for over 400 yards but a couple of errors offensively and their porous defense lead to their loss. The last game was between the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys. The Giants won 21-17 behind strong play from quarterback Eli Manning and strong defense in the second half. The Cowboys also had some errors offensively that did not help them. Now in the conference games next week, it's the Patriots and the Chargers for the AFC crown while the Giants and Packers will battle it out for the NFC crown. Who will advance to the Super Bowl? Does the Colts loss hurt as much as the one to the Pittsburgh Steelers two seasons ago?

McFadden Will Enter NFL Draft
Darren McFadden, running back for the Arkansas Razorbacks, who has just completed his junior year in the school, will declare for the NFL draft and skip his senior season at Arkansas. Many draft charts have McFadden as the best talent going into the 2008 draft. He is projected to be the first pick in many draft trackers and leading up to his decision, many people knew McFadden would skip his senior year for the NFL. Arkansas is now going through a transition because of the departure of head coach Houston Nutt. They now have Bobby Petrino, the former head coach of the Atlanta Falcons who quit on Atlanta thirteen games into the season to take the Arkansas job. He was criticized by many and many people felt that any player Petrino tries to recruit should not go to Arkansas because of a possible letdown from the coach. Petrino's arrival probably had something to do with McFadden leaving Arkansas, as he and coach Nutt has a good relationship. The last two seasons for McFadden have been spectacular, as he was in the Heisman Trophy race the last two seasons. There are some people who say that McFadden can be an immediate impact player the same way Minnesota Vikings' running back Adrian Peterson was this season in his rookie year. The Miami Dolphins, who have the #1 pick in this year's draft may choose McFadden or decide to trade the pick for more draft picks. Who will draft McFadden? Will he have the kind of rookie season Adrian Peterson had this season? How will Arkansas and new head coach Bobby Petrino do without him?

Part Of NBA Game Replayed For First Time Since 1983
The Miami Heat and the Atlanta Hawks will have to replay the final 51.9 seconds in overtime of their December 19th game because of a mistake. The Hawks ended up winning that game 117-111 but that win is erased from the win column and the Heat's loss is also erased. In that part of the game, Heat center Shaquille O'neal committed a foul and was fouled out of the game. The league reported that O'neal shouldn't have been fouled out because he only had five fouls instead of the six that it takes for a player to be fouled out. The league also fined the Hawks $50,000 for failing to report the mistake. The league said that the mistake came from when Heat forward Udonis Haslem was called for a foul. The scorer's table credited O'neal with the foul instead of Haslem. They will replay the final 51.9 seconds on March 8, when the Heat come back to play the Hawks in Atlanta. It is the first time since 1982-1983 season that that has happened. Why play this game if it is not going to mean anything to the Heat at this point? What if O'neal get injured between now and then? Why did the league decide to uphold the protest?

Gibbs Retires For Second Time
Joe Gibbs, head coach of the Washington Redskins, has retired for a second time as coach of the Redskins. Gibbs says a commitment to his family is the reason why he is retiring again, just like the first time. Gibbs was the Redskins coach from 1981 to 1992, winning three Super Bowls and six division titles. Gibbs won three Super Bowls with three different starting quarterbacks. Two of those Super Bowl came in strike shortened seasons. He retired after the 1992 season because he says that his kids were growing up without him. This time, he says he has to devote his time to his family. He has a three year old grandson who is going through chemotherapy right now. Gibbs had to go through a lot as a coach this year. The death of his star safety Sean Taylor made this season a very tough one for all of the players and Gibbs. He also had his starting quarterback, Jason Campbell, get injured for the rest of the season the game after Taylor's funeral. Veteran journeyman Todd Collins took over as the starting quarterback. It was his first start in the NFL since 1997. The Redskins just lost to the Seattle Seahawks 35-14 in the Wild Card round. Will the Redskins be good without Gibbs? Who will the Redskins hire as their next head coach?
LSU Defeats Ohio State For National Title
The LSU Tigers have defeated the Ohio State Buckeyes 38-24 on Monday in the BCS National Championship game to take the crown. This is the second straight loss for the Buckeyes in the national title game, as they lost to the Florida Gators 41-14 last year. The Buckeyes jumped out on top early, going ahead 10-0 after Chris Wells scored on a 65 yard touchdown run. Nothing went great for the Buckeyes afterward. Matt Flynn, quarterback for LSU, threw for four touchdowns. Ohio State has failed again against an SEC team in a bowl game, now being 0-9 against the conference with the last two being in the national championship game as the #1 team. LSU is now clearly the #1 team in all of college football. Georgia, USC, Missouri and Ohio State rounds out the top five in the Associated Press poll. Kansas, who was not in the top five, got a #1 vote in the Associated Press. Do you think Ohio State was ready for this game? Will a second straight loss start to question the integrity of the BCS system?
Colts' Sanders, Patriots' Brady Wins Player of The Year Award
Indianapolis Colts' safety Bob Sanders has won the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award, while New England Patriots' quarterback Tom Brady has won the NFL Offensive Player of the Year award. Sanders, who was an important defensive player in helping the Colts win the Super Bowl last year, has been just as important this season. Sanders missed the majority of the regular season last year and came back for the playoffs. This season, he hasn't missed an important start and the defensive numbers for the Colts have improved. They gave up a league worst 5.3 yards per carry last year. This season, they gave up 3.8 yards per carry, a major improvement. They are also second in the league in passing yards per game given up. Other players who got votes is Seattle Seahawks' defensive lineman Patrick Kerney and Tennessee Titans' defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth. Brady has had an amazing offensive year this year, leading the NFL in passing yards and touchdown passes. His 50 touchdown passes this season was a single season record, surpassing Peyton Manning's 49 touchdown passes in 2004. Brady also won the NFL MVP in his record setting season, also helping the Patriots to an undefeated regular season for the first time since the Miami Dolphins did it in 1972 en route to the Super Bowl victory. Other players getting votes are Patriots' receivers Randy Moss and Wes Welker, and Green Bay Packers' quarterback Brett Favre. Did Sanders deserve the award, considering the amount of good defensive players this season? Did Brady deserve the award, considering he had great receivers?

NFL Wild Card Weekend
The NFL Playoffs began on Saturday with good games as usual. The Washington Redskins faced off against the Seattle Seahawks in the first matchup. The Seahawks won 35-14, but the score was very deceiving. The game was very competitive. The Seahawks jumped out to a 13-0 lead by the third quarter but the Redskins scored two quick touchdowns to take a 14-13 lead. The Redskins had a chance to score again but Redskins kicker Shaun Suisham missed a 30 yard field goal. The Seahawks took over from there, scoring 22 points, including the last two touchdowns on interception returns. The other Saturday game was between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Jaguars beat the Steelers earlier in the season in Pittsburgh and it happened again. This time the Jaguars won 31-29 and it was a great game. The Jaguars dominated in the first half, leading 21-7 and intercepting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger three times. They would later take a 28-10 lead but the Steelers scored 19 unanswered points to go up by 1. But on fourth and two, quarterback David Garrard ran a quarterback draw and ran 32 yards into field goal range. Kicker Josh Scobee kicked a 25 yard field goal for the game winner. Sunday's first game was between the New York Giants and the Tampa Bay Buccaneeers. The Giants won 24-14, with quarterback Eli Manning being very efficient and the Giants defense playing very well. The second game was between the Tennessee Titans and the San Diego Chargers. The Titans played well early with a 6-0 lead into halftime, but the Chargers came out and scored 17 in the second half while blanking the Titans. The final score was 17-6. Next week's AFC matchups are the Jaguars vs. Patriots and the Chargers vs. Colts. The NFC matchups are the Seahawks vs. Packers and the Giants vs. Cowboys. Which upset is most likely to happen next week?

Brady Wins MVP
Tom Brady, quarterback of the New England Patriots, has won the NFL MVP award on Saturday, almost winning in unanimous fashion. Brady completed 69% of his passes en route to a record setting season. Brady set a record for the most touchdown passes in a single season with 50 touchdowns passes. He passed Peyton Manning's 49 touchdown passes back in 2004. Brady also only had 8 interceptions all season, and he had a quarterback rating of 117.2, well ahead of his career quarterback rating of 92.9. Brady's favorite target has been wide receiver Randy Moss, who set a record as well with 23 touchdown receptions. He surpassed Jerry Rice's mark of 22 in a strike shortened 1987 season. The Patriots as a team is the first team since the 1972 Miami Dolphins to go undefeated in the regular season with a 16-0 record. The 1972 Dolphins, who went 14-0 in the regular season that year, defeated the Washington Redskins in the Super Bowl en route to a perfect 17-0 record. Brady has been very successful this year because of the changes management made with the offense. The two starting wide receivers last year, Jabar Gaffney and Reche Caldwell, were not effective enough as the Patriots went 12-4 last season as they lost to the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship game. They revamped their whole wide receiving corps, getting Donte Stallworth and Wes Welker through free agency. They also traded for Moss on draft day and the results have been huge. Welker was tied for first in the NFL in receptions with Cincinnati Bengals' wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh with 112 receptions. The Patriots head coach, Bill Belichick, won the coach of the year as well and more awards may be coming the Patriots way. Will the Patriots continue their run of dominance and win the Super Bowl? Is this the best team ever? How will the Patriots do in the future?

49ers' Willis Wins Defensive Rookie Of The Year Award
Patrick Willis, middle linebacker for the San Francisco 49ers, has won the Defensive Rookie of The Year award on Thursday after having a spectacular rookie season. The 49ers season was not good, going 5-11 for a team that had many thinking that they could compete for the NFC West division crown. Instead, they would go on to have a losing season and there were questions about whether head coach Mike Nolan would be staying. Willis is the fifth straight linebacker to win the award, joining Terrell Suggs, Jonathan Vilma, Shawne Merriman, and DeMeco Ryans. He led the NFL in tackles with 174 with 135 of them being solo tackles. He also had four sacks to go along with his league leading amount of tackles. He received most of the votes. The only other rookie who received votes was Jon Beason of the Carolina Panthers. Willis' standout game was against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, when he had 20 tackles and 2 sacks in a 21-19 victory. Willis is the third player from the 49ers to win the award, joining Dana Stubblefield in 1993 and Bruce Taylor in 1970. The 49ers have a lot of work to do in order to become a successful team. Quarterback Alex Smith has not shown much improvement from last season and it is important for Smith to develop into the quarterback the 49ers want to be. It seems like they have a constant on defense. Will Willis be the kind of player the 49ers need to become successful again? Can he be an established leader?
Cameron Fired After One Season
Cam Cameron, head coach of the Miami Dolphins, was fired on Wednesday after winning only one game in his first season with the team. Cameron was hired last offseason to replace Nick Saban, who left the Dolphins to coach the University of Alabama. Cameron was the offensive coordinator for the San Diego Chargers for five years before he got the head coaching job with the Dolphins. Cameron was a part of the 14-2 season the Chargers had last season when they lost to the New England Patriots in the divisional round of the playoffs. Many thought that this was a good hire because of what he has done with the Chargers high powered offense. But it did not work out well. Cameron lost his first 13 games before finally winning one in overtime against the Baltimore Ravens. The Dolphins also went through injuries, losing running backs Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams. They also lost Trent Green for the season when he suffered a concussion against the Houston Texans. Linebacker Zach Thomas was also lost for the rest of the season. Bill Parcells, who was hired by the Dolphins a couple of weeks ago to run operations, fired general manager Randy Mueller and hired Jeff Ireland to become the new general manager. Ireland worked with Parcells while with the Dallas Cowboys. Will Ireland hire a good head coach? Will Parcells eventually become the head coach? What kind of success will Parcells have with the Dolphins?

Billick Fired After 5-11 Record
Brian Billick, head coach of the Baltimore Ravens, was fired on Monday, after the Ravens victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Billick, along with his entire coaching staff, was fired because of a disappointing season in which they lost a franchise record nine straight games. Billick lead the Ravens to a Super Bowl victory in the 2000 season, where they beat the New York Giants 34-7. Billick has gotten the Ravens back to the playoffs afterward but never lead his team to another Super Bowl. Billick has been criticized for not developing any of his quarterbacks, most notably Kyle Boller. Billick did not retain Trent Dilfer, who was the starting quarterback for the Ravens when they won the Super Bowl. It backfired as they went through a lot of quarterbacks and none has been able to produce. Steve McNair, who came over from the Tennessee Titans, led the Ravens to a 13-3 record last season. But they lost to the Indianapolis Colts and there were great expectations for the Ravens this season. It never turned out to be a good season and the entire coaching staff is paying for it. The only coach on the staff who was not fired was offensive coordinator Rick Neuheisel, who took the head coaching position at UCLA. Will this firing help the Ravens? Who will the Ravens hire as their next head coach?
Peterson Wins Offensive Rookie Of The Year
Adrian Peterson, rookie running back for the Minnesota Vikings has won the Offensive Rookie Of The Year award on Wednesday, making him the fifth Vikings player to win the award and the first since Randy Moss won it in 1998. Peterson had a tremendous season, rushing for 1,341 yards this past regular season, which was second behing All-Pro running back LaDainian Tomlinson of the San Diego Chargers. Peterson missed two games this past season because of a torn lateral collateral ligament, but that didn't stop him from running when he came back. He also had two 200 yard rushing games this season. The first one came against the Chicago Bears in Soldier Field, when he rushed for 224 yards. He had an NFL record 296 yards against the Chargers, with over 200 yards coming in the second half alone. There were no other offensive rookies who came close to winning the award. The only other rookie who got votes for the award was offensive lineman Joe Thomas for the Cleveland Browns. At the beginning of the season, Peterson was still listed as the second running back behind Chester Taylor before being inserted into the starting role. The Vikings also had a chance to make the playoffs but they failed to win their last two games. Was there any other rookie that was productive offensively that is deserving of the award? Will the Vikings make the playoffs next year?

NFL Week 17
Week 17 of the NFL season was the last week of the regular season with some teams still trying to get spots in the playoffs. In the NFC, the New Orleans Saints, Minnesota Vikings, and the Washington Redskins all had chances to get into the playoffs this week. The Saints lost to the Chicago Bears 33-25, eliminating their chances of making the playoffs. The Vikings lost to the Denver Broncos 22-19 in overtime, also eliminating their chance of making the playoffs. The Redskins beat the Dallas Cowboys 27-6 to grab the final spot in the NFC playoffs. For the second straight year, the NFC East has three out of four teams in the playoffs. For wild card weekend, the Redskins will play the Seattle Seahawks while the New York Giants will play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In the AFC, the Cleveland Browns and the Tennessee Titans had chances to make the playoffs. The Browns beat the San Francisco 49ers 20-7 to put themselves in a good position. They just needed the Titans to lose and they would've been in. But that didn't happen. The Titans beat the Indianapolis Colts 16-10 to earn the final playoff spot. The AFC South has three teams in the playoffs just like the NFC East. For wild card weekend, the Titans will play the San Diego Chargers while the Jacksonville Jaguars will play the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Colts, New England Patriots, Cowboys, and the Green Bay Packers all have bye weeks and will play in the second round against the winners of the wild card round. Who will win the Super Bowl? What upset do you see in wild card weekend?
