NFL Wild Card Weekend

The NFL Playoffs began on Saturday with good games as usual. The Washington Redskins faced off against the Seattle Seahawks in the first matchup. The Seahawks won 35-14, but the score was very deceiving. The game was very competitive. The Seahawks jumped out to a 13-0 lead by the third quarter but the Redskins scored two quick touchdowns to take a 14-13 lead. The Redskins had a chance to score again but Redskins kicker Shaun Suisham missed a 30 yard field goal. The Seahawks took over from there, scoring 22 points, including the last two touchdowns on interception returns. The other Saturday game was between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Jaguars beat the Steelers earlier in the season in Pittsburgh and it happened again. This time the Jaguars won 31-29 and it was a great game. The Jaguars dominated in the first half, leading 21-7 and intercepting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger three times. They would later take a 28-10 lead but the Steelers scored 19 unanswered points to go up by 1. But on fourth and two, quarterback David Garrard ran a quarterback draw and ran 32 yards into field goal range. Kicker Josh Scobee kicked a 25 yard field goal for the game winner. Sunday's first game was between the New York Giants and the Tampa Bay Buccaneeers. The Giants won 24-14, with quarterback Eli Manning being very efficient and the Giants defense playing very well. The second game was between the Tennessee Titans and the San Diego Chargers. The Titans played well early with a 6-0 lead into halftime, but the Chargers came out and scored 17 in the second half while blanking the Titans. The final score was 17-6. Next week's AFC matchups are the Jaguars vs. Patriots and the Chargers vs. Colts. The NFC matchups are the Seahawks vs. Packers and the Giants vs. Cowboys. Which upset is most likely to happen next week?
