LSU Defeats Ohio State For National Title

The LSU Tigers have defeated the Ohio State Buckeyes 38-24 on Monday in the BCS National Championship game to take the crown. This is the second straight loss for the Buckeyes in the national title game, as they lost to the Florida Gators 41-14 last year. The Buckeyes jumped out on top early, going ahead 10-0 after Chris Wells scored on a 65 yard touchdown run. Nothing went great for the Buckeyes afterward. Matt Flynn, quarterback for LSU, threw for four touchdowns. Ohio State has failed again against an SEC team in a bowl game, now being 0-9 against the conference with the last two being in the national championship game as the #1 team. LSU is now clearly the #1 team in all of college football. Georgia, USC, Missouri and Ohio State rounds out the top five in the Associated Press poll. Kansas, who was not in the top five, got a #1 vote in the Associated Press. Do you think Ohio State was ready for this game? Will a second straight loss start to question the integrity of the BCS system?
